Ethan Cooper came to us in 2022 for work experience after completing his Certificate II in Engineering through Murray Bridge High School. We were thoroughly impressed with his work ethic, passion, and general talent for welding. There was no question he would make a valuable addition to the Boweng team, so he was offered an apprenticeship on his last day of work experience.

In his spare time you can find Ethan riding his bicycle, most recently participating in the Pedal Prix in Murray Bridge with his old school. We are very proud of Ethan incorporating his favourite activity into a charity fundraiser, participating in Starlight’s Tour de Kids to raise money for sick kids. He raised over $600 and rode a whopping 1500km in just a month!

At the end of 2023 Ethan was lucky enough to win Murray Bridge High School’s School Based Apprentice of the Year at the Graduation night for outstanding achievement.

The Sydney Gateway project is what Ethan is most proud of so far in his apprenticeship, he said it was great to be part of something so big. The Boweng Team are excited to see Ethan grow into a talented tradesman and contribute to many more big projects.
