Supply Of fabricated bridge girders for the light river rail bridge, heavy three piece beam fabrication in through bridge design, trial assembled in Bowhills workshop to ensure correct fitup prior to surface treatment. Assemblies then treated and fully assembled with TB connections prior to delivery to site as a complete bridge for a seamless single crane lift into position. This allowed the client to install the bridge as per the rail shut limitations and re-open the line.

It’s this kind of innovative thinking that lowers the risk of working in a rail corridor. This is beneficial not only for us, but more importantly for our client and the owner of the site.

With our new B5 heavy lift workshop facility, Bowhill now have the capacity to efficiently deliver these larger items with speed and confidence.
