Lauren’s journey with Boweng began in 2024 joined the team for Year 10 work experience. During her week with us, she expressed a strong interest in accounting, keen to learn more about how things work in the accounting space. Her time with us left a good impression — so much so that she has now returned as our Trainee Administration Assistant studying Cert III in Accounts Administration. Lauren started her certificate in school but wanted to learn in a more hands-on environment which lead her back to Boweng.
Outside of work, Lauren leads an active and family-oriented life, playing netball with her sister and mum and occasionally stepping in for a game of cricket. She also has a passion for cooking, always keen to try new recipes and explore fresh food experiences.
Since officially joining Boweng, Lauren has found the environment supportive and welcoming. She’s excited to continue learning, contribute to the team, and grow her skills in the accounting scope of her role. With her collaborative approach and eagerness to take on new challenges, Lauren is finding her feet and getting involved with the team.
