Lachy is known as a pretty cruisy bloke around Boweng, he joined our Apprentice Metal Fabrication Team in November 2020 after doing work experience in August 2020. Whilst at Murray Bridge High School, Lachy had completed Cert II in Construction Pathways. Completing work experience in bricklaying, plumbing, farm work as well as done a bit of fitting at home with his Dad.
It was the metal fabrication work experience at Boweng and the hands on experience and variety of jobs and activities that sealed the deal for him wanting to become a metal fabricator. “I felt welcomed straight away during work experience, everyone was really friendly.”
Lachy has worked hard on getting his skills to trade spec as early as he can, he always put his hand up to be involved in overtime and just loves being a part of the Boweng team and seeing the finished project! We love ya work Lachy!
