Business Manager

Business Manager

Business Manager

Permanent | Full Time | $90-$100k

Bowhill Engineering is entering an exciting new stage of growth, and we are looking for a practical, organised and people-focused Business Manager to help us strengthen the way we work.

We are a proud regional engineering business built on trust, hard work, care and straight-talking communication. Our purpose is simple: Together we thrive. We transform communities and our people by optimising and building structures that matter. We do what we say we will do, we get things done together, we work smarter, and we help our clients win.

About the Role

This is not a role for someone who wants to sit on the sidelines. It is a genuine opportunity to step into a central leadership position and help shape the next chapter of Bowhill Engineering as we grow from around 60 people to 90+ and beyond.

You will provide leadership and coordination across key business support functions including HR, Administration, WHSE and Finance, helping to improve clarity, communication, systems and accountability across the business. You will work closely with the CEO, senior leaders and existing team members to make sure important initiatives are followed through properly and our people are supported along the way.

We are looking for someone who brings professionalism and structure without becoming corporate for the sake of it. You will be highly organised, commercially aware, calm under pressure and confident leading people through change. You will know how to delegate, follow up, communicate clearly and hold people accountable in a respectful, practical and honest way.

You may come from a background in business management, operations, HR, finance, administration, recruitment or marketing. The pathway matters less than your ability to lead, improve systems, understand business priorities and fit well with the Bowhill way.

If you enjoy bringing order to complexity, building strong teams and making a real difference in a growing business that genuinely values its people and its community, this could be the opportunity you have been waiting for.

This is your chance to help shape the future of a respected regional business that is proud of its people, deeply connected to its community, and committed to strengthening the region we call home.
