The role of Trade Assistant Blast & Paint is responsible for assisting our Surface Treatment team in meeting their day to day project surface treatment requirements. A great entry level role to the Bowhill Engineering team, given the opportunity, the right person, will turn this opportunity into a long term career as many on our team have.
Operating plant under pressure, a good level of fitness for work is required as well as a great work ethic and flexibility working with the Surface Treatment team to get the job done.
In this role, you will be involved in
- Industrial Abrasive Blasting & surface preparation
- Assist paint preparation & coating
- Housekeeping
- Material Handling support
- General duties and assistance as required
We require someone with:
- Good level of physical fitness
- Great work ethic, initiative and positive attitude
- Confidence with operating power hand tools
- Ability to work independently under instruction
- Flexible to meet daily work & team priorities
- Commitment to safe work practices
- Reliable & Fit for work
- Forklift, EWP, W@H desirable but not a requirement
