Tyler Martin

Apprentice Metal Fabricator

Tyler shares a love of the river like many of our employees and loves to fish or water ski often utilising our large carpark space to park his boat for time on the river after work.  In the time, Tyler has been an apprentice with Bowhill Engineering, he has been a great advocate for metal fabrication apprenticeships, starring in a TAFE SA video and speaking to school students who participate in our group tours.

“I love contributing to large structures that help the larger community.  I started my Metal Fabrication career by doing Year 11 school work experience and I started my Apprenticeship on completion of my Year 11 studies.

I was keen to get an apprenticeship opportunity at Bowhill Engineering because I felt welcomed into the workplace straight away whilst on work experience and I could see the opportunities to further my metal fabrication skills in the variety of work Bowhill Engineering does.  As I move towards the end of my apprenticeship, I am keen to take on more roles in the workshop as I become a Tradesperson.”
