Phil Cornish

Board Member, Bowhill Engineering

Phil Cornish brings extensive experience in infrastructure development, project management, and strategic advisory to the Bowhill Engineering Board. Currently in an advisory role through Bell Rock Engineering, Phil has played a pivotal role in major national infrastructure and defence projects.

Previously, Phil was Project Director at Australian Naval Infrastructure (ANI), leading the design and delivery of the expanded Osborne Shipyard in Adelaide and contributing to the planning of a multi-billion-dollar shipyard investment at Henderson for the Federal Government’s continuous naval shipbuilding program.

Prior to his work with ANI, Phil was instrumental in the Osborne Submarine Yard development and held leadership roles in Sydney Motorway Corporation’s $3.5B WestConnex M4 Project, overseeing tunnel construction, risk assessment, and infrastructure delivery. Earlier in his career, he contributed to the successful completion of wind farm projects across Australia.

With a strong background in complex infrastructure projects and a deep understanding of engineering, construction, and strategic growth, Phil adds significant value to Bowhill Engineering’s leadership team.
