Alex joined the Bowhill Engineering team in December 2020 after hearing about the Metal Fabrication Apprenticeships positions from his school mate Lachlan Jackson. Having attended Murray Bridge High School, starting an apprenticeship together made the transition from school easier. For me, one of the attractions of Bowhill Engineering, is that it is more than a workplace, it’s a family! The Apprenticeship group has grown into it’s own family too in the time that I have been here, its been a bonus to develop some great friendships throughout the group.
I was pretty lucky with my Apprenticeship, I nearly missed out as Boweng had taken on 3 Apprentices already, I was pretty happy when they decided to increase their intake to 4 that year and give me an Apprenticeship opportunity.
Alex is our adrenaline junkie and enjoys off road racing, dirtbikes & 4wding.
