Bowhill Engineering began their part in this project in November of 2003. The scope of the job included: Detailing using 3D design software. We were able to use the engineers 3D drawings to fast track the shop drawings by synchronising the two programs, thus a lot of information was able to be transferred to the steel detailing software. Fabrication of all sections off site (32mm Plate Mast Triangular & Tapered) and transported to site in large pieces reducing site erection times and minimal disruption to clients operations. Blasting & Painting with metallic polyurethane architectural finish.
Erection in 5 large components (Base, masts x 2 and bridge deck sections x 2)
Stainless Steel Cable Installation individual monitoring and sequenced adjustment for correct loading
