The scope of the job included: Structural steel for the visitor information centre and cafe.

Detailed 3 dimensional shop drawings, fabrication, surface treatment, transportation, and erection of approximately 50t of complex steel.

Working in conjunction with the builder we were able to set the cast in hold down bolts with a robotic total station during the footings pour.

The unusual design of this building meant that the accuracy of the structural steel frame had to be within very tight tolerances. The accuracy was so good that the whole building frame was erected in 1 week and the drawing and fabrication team were able to avoid even 1 manufacture error.
