Bowhill Engineering is looking for an experienced and appropriately certified individual to fulfill the position of Welding Supervisor at Bowhill Engineering with high quality and technical expertise in weld supervision.

Bowhill Engineering is specialist fabricators of heavy and complex structural steel, able to deliver an end-to-end service and known for producing high-quality work for their clients and stakeholders.
Bowhill Engineering collaboratively build structures, from design optimisation through to installation, that benefit many Australians.

The role is focused on compliance & success for all project stakeholders ensuring Bowhill Engineering deliver high quality products and services, conducting inhouse visual inspections of welding and managing the organisation & coordination of all external parties involved with quality Inspections for production.

Bowhill Engineering offer some flexibility with the role, ideally full time, the opportunity to work remotely from home one day per week is on offer, with the role requirements Monday to Friday with flexibility.

In this role, you will be responsible for

  • Compliance
  • Welding Supervision

Desirable role requirements:

  • Structural steel welding supervision certificate (AS2214)
  • Cert III Engineering (Fabrication trade)
  • Experience in either Weld Quality control
  • Great leadership, work ethic, confidence & competence
  • High standards quality and accuracy
  • Focus on quality compliance, record keeping
  • Factual, formal and sincere communicator
  • Flexible to meet daily/weekly work priorities
  • Commitment to safe work practices
  • Reliable & Fit for work
  • Forklift, EWP licensing/certification
