Ethan Klemm
Project Draftsman
I started my career with Bowhill Engineering way back during school as part of my work experience. Ever since I have kept close contact with the leadership team. I approached Bowhill Engineering when I was looking for an internship for my University Degree in Product Design, they were keen to see what I could do and what I had to offer to the business. When the internship was completed, I was presented the opportunity to continue to work in the team.
What drew me towards Bowhill Engineering was the immense scale of projects and the respectful approach to all workers. Additionally, its amazing to see such a significant business located in rural SA and I’m proud to be a part of it.
As a Project Draftsman with Draft and Technology focus, its my job to work on projects that need full realisation, from concept, to fabrication, to use. This process involves all stakeholders to get all the necessary information and utilises Universal Design Methods to effectively produce the best result. This is achieved through sketching, CAD/CAM modelling, animation/renderings, scale models and more. I am excited to use my skills at Bowhill Engineering.
When I’m not working, I’m spending time with my wife. You can also find me restoring vintage machinery, knifemaking or taking photos with a vintage film camera.
