Hannah applied for a Metal Fabrication Apprenticeship in line with her move to the local area and change in schools. Coincidentally, around that time, our HR Manager Samantha was visiting her school in the Barossa to promote Apprenticeship & Traineeship opportunities, and it posed a great opportunity to meet and discuss Apprenticeships at Bowhill Engineering.
Work experience was arranged at the start of the year for Hannah once settled in the area, and discussions were held regarding future opportunities as Hannah moved towards her SACE completion. Hannah enjoyed the time so much at Bowhill Engineering and was super keen to get an Apprenticeship opportunity that she completed a second work experience. Hannah had been working hard on her welding skills at home between work experiences to gain the Apprenticeship opportunity and it had not gone unnoticed. It was on completion of her work experience that Bowhill Engineering offered her a Metal Fabrication Apprenticeship opportunity starting end of September 2024.
Hannah personifies our value Courageous racing in speedway and motocross in her spare time and stepping into a Trade role in which we are more than excited to support her.
